You are very talented Virginia! Your dog is adorable. What breed is he? And what a catchy blog title :)

Thank you! He’s a White West Highland Terrier (westie). I don’t think he much likes being white though. He spends an awful lot of time trying to not be white.
Thank you for the lovely compliment!

Wow. I love your paintings. Especially the ones with landscapes. Keep it up. :)

I’m looking at the painting displayed in the following url and have a question about it: http://thepurpledogpaintingblog.files.wordpress.com/2011/07/ripaintingsmall.jpg

    Is that Westminster St., Providence?

Your art is so great–I’ve always been drawn to street scenes and you’ve got some really nice ones!

Thank you! That is the downtown of Rock Island, Illinois. It’s right on the Mississippi River across from Iowa. They’ve very wisely revitalized their downtown. They’re doing a great job of it.

I am new to this (blogging and painting). Really enjoyed looking at your very creative blog and enjoyed the wit and wisdom along with the pictures and art. I am OLD…maybe too old to pick up a new hobby….but am currently taking watercolor class and really enjoy the challenge. Thanks for inspiring me!
