Deck the halls…

Deck the halls with singing doggies,
Ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff
Tis the season to be froggy,
Ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff

Tis the time to set up the tree
Ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff
And Dummy, his old friends he can see
Ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff

In poinsettias I take pleasure
Ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff
Dummy thinks they’re a real treasure,
Ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff

Fast away the old year passes,
Ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff
Thanks for reading my blog, ye lads and lasses,
Ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff

Since this blog is supposed to about art

  1. How did you do the snow Aunt Virginia? You are so funny. I’m home sick and you made me laugh. I like the duck. Love Beth

    1. HI Beth! The snow came from the tech people who run the company that lets people like me have a blog without having to know anything about computers. It’s pretty funny eh.
I thought you meant you were homesick not home sick when I first read that. I was wondering if you were homesick where you were, I was thinking maybe your parents dropped you back off at the zoo or something… 😀 Anyway..I hope you’re feeling better. xo

  2. I will be singing “ruff-ruffs” all day, in my head. By far the best thing I have seen this year to make me feel that Christmas spirit. The duck painting is great but looks so lonely down there without Christmas red. 🙂

    1. Thanks Leslie…I was doing that all night then quacking. My husband is a fortunate man. 😀
I think you’re right that duck needs a ribbon. He has a supercilious grin on though so I don’t know if I’ll chance it. Duck bites can be dangerous.
