Fall is definitely in the air and so are the balloons.
There is just something about balloons..

And balloons of all colors..

There were even balloon slides and as I watched the kiddies playing on them, this little guy hung on for dear life.
Then the little girl pushed him down and he screamed…
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I must be a terrible person because it made me laugh.
That’s why I like children, they’re evil little things but they are comical.

Meanwhile back at the ranch, I should be outside raking but instead I painted some tree trunks.
This is a 5 by 7 inch in acrylic.

Can you imagine sewing all those patterns on the balloons? And what if you messed up! The pilot looks like he could fall out too! I think instead of raking, you should be able to set your yard on fire and let the ashes just blow away. Love your painting, like always.
You know what’s funny, is some people here do burn their leaves on the yard, they say it helps the grass!! I’d be more worried about setting the house on fire.
I remember having to sew the sails at camp. That was a chore but still way smaller then those things. That’s the closest I’ve been I didn’t realize that they were that big!
