Ho, oh ho, oh no…

Ho! Ho! Ho!

It’s that time of year! It’s time for caroling!

It’s time to sing!

Hey! Hey! Where are you going cardinal?

Nuthatch?

Anyone? Blue Jay? I see you hiding behind that fence..

Oh alright. No singing, I am going to strum my ukulele though.

Here’s some little snow scenes I’ve been painting while medicated heavily. Had a pretty serious illness, but I’m fine now. If you ever have vertigo, I thoroughly recommend painting. It’s incredibly hard but oddly entertaining at the same time. I felt like one of Leary’s hippies.

These are all acrylic, four inch squares.

So I was throwing the acrylic around left, right and center, then I tried to focus.

On snowman..and their lives of snow.

  1. What a treat to wake up to this morning, Virginia. I loved all the photos and artwork!! I especially love the last acrylic, so pretty. I love snowmen too, as you know, the last ink was particularly funny.
Merry Christmas to you, Michael and Trev.

  2. Virginia, first of all, glad you are okay. I LOVE your paintings, but am reluctant to try this method involving illness, but think you are on to something. So, just remember the good parts and paint on!!! Merry, merry to you and yours!

  3. Oh Virginia, glad to hear you are okay. I was thinking about your method of painting while medicated, and must say, the results are stellar. Was thinking about trying it, but don’t like the illness part of the equation. I hope you can remember the good parts of it all, and continue to paint in this amazing way. The colors, the compositions, everything, are just gorgeous. Hmmm. Merry merry to you and yours.

  4. So glad to talk to you the other day and hear your voice and know that you are on the mend. These paintings are amazing. I would say some of your best. Love Sherry
