There is a turkey in my yard
I don’t know what he wants
He struts to and fro
And yells oh such nasty taunts
He waggles his wattles
And snoozles his snood
And he blocked the driveway
Cause he’s in a fowl mood
But I will not let him
Get to me
For instead I have painted
A watercolor tree.

“Fowl” mood? Oh kay then. 😀
😀 I was wondering if anyone would catch that.
(Rats. I was trying for a big grin – 😀 – with a wink. Oh well.)
That’s hilarious! 😉
What fab close up shots Virginia. Of course, I adore your sense of humor, AND your watercolors!
Thanks, my basement is a sublevel and they walk right up and look in the windows, the little weirdos, So I managed to get those while they were being nosy
Very funny Virginia. I love the watercolour.
Thanks, that’s a tree down the road, I love it’s shape.
Me too. I really like to look at trees and their shapes. I like the way a lilac bush looks. I try to draw it with my eyes, following up the branches. I’ll have to pen to paper and actually draw one some day.
Oh so cute! I love the watercolour. 🙂
